Tech Showcase
5:00-5:30pm session
Presented by PlasmaShield

This technology talk by Plasma Shield will showcase air decontamination technology and how it profoundly reduces almost all contaminants, instantly transforming indoor air quality.
The talk will highlight case studies, proving how contemporary technology allows buildings to drastically reduce outdoor air volumes, resulting in impressive savings in both capital and operating costs. Discover how HVAC equipment can be downsized, energy consumption cut, and equipment lifespans extended – all whilst improving indoor air quality. The talk will focus on practical and efficient ways to reduce costs while optimising building performance.
- Case study one will demonstrate how you can avoid the additional outdoor air required for troublesome meeting rooms and still achieve compliance.
- Case study two will demonstrate how you can lower outdoor air in tropical environments.
- Case study three will demonstrate how you can avoid bushfire smoke odours in fire prone areas.

In this technology talk, Fantech covers key aspects of optimising ventilation system performance and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The first topic introduces System Effects, emphasising the importance of understanding how adverse installation conditions impact fan performance to ensure a ventilation system functions as intended in the built environment.
The second topic addresses Jet Fans in Carpark Applications, focusing on the key standards and regulations that must be followed when implementing JetVent systems in carparks. Compliance with these standards is essential for ensuring safety, efficiency, and effectiveness in both mechanical ventilation and fire management within carpark environments.
